Annual Clear The Shelters campaign begins

Little Shelter in Huntington is one of the many pet adoption centers participating in this year’s Clear The Shelters campaign.

The annual drive, which begins Saturday, August 1, is organized and sponsored by NBC Universal and Telemundo owned television stations.

Here is how you can help:

GIVE: Go to littleshelter.org and donate. From August 1 through August 31, $400,000 in matching funds will be made available starting with $100,000 from August 1 to August 8.

FOLLOW: Follow The Little Shelter on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and invite your friends to do the same.

SPREAD THE WORD: Encourage friends and family to join you in creating an impact by sharing on social media what the mission means to you and why you support the organization, using the campaign hashtag #ClearTheShelters.
