Nassau County gives out 200 boxes of winter clothing
Nassau County distributed 200 boxes of winter clothing last week to about 50 churches and community-based organizations.
The annual winter clothing drive got a major donation from the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office in the form of jackets seized during the course of a crackdown on illegal counterfeit activities.
The event was also supported by the county’s Department of Human Services, Office of Minority Affairs, Office of Hispanic Affairs, Office of Asian American Affairs, Office of Housing, Office of Emergency Management, and Department of Public Works.
