Hook & Reel restaurant opens in Bay Shore

Crawfish lovers delight as a new Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood and Bar splashes down at the Westfield South Shore mall in Bay Shore.

The 6,000-square-foot eatery is the Maryland-based chain’s third on Long Island, following locations in Hicksville and Valley Stream.

The Cajun-inspired seafood restaurant and bar is known for its mouth-watering mix-and-match seafood boils, po’boys, seafood baskets, and tropical cocktails.

“Hook & Reel is excited to be expanding our experience-driven seafood concept to Westfield South Shore,” Ed O’Grady, Hook & Reel’s regional director of operations, said in a written statement. “We know that as the world begins to open up again, people will be seeking out a place where they can reconnect with friends or family in a fun, casual environment. That’s really what we’re about – a place where you’re elbow-deep in Cajun sauces and just laughing and having a good time.”

The Bay Shore Hook & Reel has 204 seats and is open daily.
