Beach party fundraiser for Southampton Animal Shelter

The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation will host a beach party fundraising event next month.

Called “So Fetch,” the organizers will donate 100 percent of the proceeds to the shelter’s rescue program.

The beach party takes place from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, August 7 on Gin Lane beach. Dogs with shelter volunteers will greet party goers and enjoy a night at the beach and out of their kennels.

The night features cocktails and dancing on the beach to music by DJ Teal Camner, with wine provided by Winc, a tequila station serving up DOGaritas sponsored by Bottle Hampton, vegetarian appetizers catered by Seasons of Southampton. Dessert will be Tate’s chocolate chip cookies and cupcakes in a jar by Baked Cravings. 

Hosts of the fundraiser include Georgina Bloomberg, Katie McEntee, Kingsley Crawford, Nathania Nisonson, Elizabeth Shafiroff, Merritt Piro, Jessica Fontaine Swift, Elizabeth Bowden, and Olivia Mulvey.
