Palm Tree Music Festival to benefit charities

Palm Tree Crew, a lifestyle brand founded by Kygo and Myles Shear, is bringing a live music event to Westhampton Beach next weekend.

The tropical-inspired Palm Tree Music Festival will be held on Sunday, August 29 at Gabreski Airport.

The event, which features a lineup of Frank Walker, Forester, Gryffin (DJ Set), Zedd and Kygo, is also donating a portion of ticket sales to the FealGood Foundation and the Lt. Michael P. Murphy Navy Seal Museum.

“Thank you to everyone who helped put this amazing together during this difficult time of the year for so many,” John Feal, founder of the FealGood Foundation, said in a written statement. “As we approach the 20-year 9/11 remembrance, it is your energy and empathy that should be embraced and emulated by all. And to be included in the same event with the Michael Murphy Navy Seal Museum is simply humbling.”

Miami-based Palm Tree Crew was launched in 2018 by Kygo and his manager, Myles Shear, in 2018 when they started gifting palm tree necklaces to their inner circle as a symbol of community. In 2020, Palm Tree Crew Holdings was formed to organize events and offer merchandise.
