Lottery opens for veterans affordable housing complex

The Huntington Community Development Agency has opened the affordable housing lottery application process for Columbia Terrace, a 14-unit veterans affordable condominium complex.

Located at the corner of Columbia Street and Lowndes Avenue in Huntington Station, Columbia Terrace has eight two-bedroom units and six one-bedroom units. The price for a two-bedroom two-bathroom unit is $253,250, and a one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo is $233,250.

Applications will be accepted online through Nov. 30 and the lottery will take place at Huntington Town Hall on Dec. 8.

All veterans as well as non-veterans who meet the first-time homebuyer and income criteria are encouraged to apply.
