Comedy contest to support LI Fight For Charity

Want to test out your comedy chops and help a worthy cause?

Then sign up for “So You Think You’re Funny,” a clash of amateur comedians hosted by Long Island Social Networking.

The event takes place Tuesday, Nov. 16 beginning at 6 p.m. at the American Legion hall at 66 Veterans Blvd. in Massapequa.

All proceeds will go to support Long Island Fight For Charity, the nonprofit that helps raise money for the Long Island Community Chest, which helps people and families in need.

Tickets, which cost $55 each or $45 for two or more guests, include dinner, wine and beer and desert.
