Champions for Charity at Americana Manhasset and Wheatley Plaza

Shoppers at Americana Manhasset and Wheatley Plaza in Greenvale can help raise money for the nonprofits of their choice this holiday season.

Dozens of stores at the two retail centers, owned and operated by Castagna Realty, will be participating in the Champions for Charity annual shopping benefit event. Those retailers will donate 25 percent of shoppers’ full-price purchases to participating organizations of their choice.

Purchases made from Thursday, Dec 2 through Saturday, Dec. 4 will qualify for the nonprofit donations. Shoppers must first register for the event at the Champions for Charity website and are invited to “pre-shop” on Sunday, Nov. 21.

Since its inception in 1996, Champions for Charity has raised over $15 million.
