NYC ice cream shop coming to East Hampton

A La Mode Shoppe, a popular artisanal ice cream shop in Manhattan, will open a new location in East Hampton this spring.

The new ice cream store is coming to 35 Newtown Lane, formerly occupied by Scoop Du Jour.

A La Mode specializes in handcrafted, small-batch premium ice cream prepared locally in a facility where there is no chance of products coming in contact with nuts, eggs or sesame seeds. While keeping allergy restrictions at the forefront, the premium ice cream does not compromise on taste and comes in a variety of flavors. 

Gluten-free and dairy-free options are also available and the new Hamptons shop will also feature a boutique carrying infant and children’s apparel, toys and unique gifts.
