Fashion show to support breast cancer coalition
A fundraising fashion show will be held next week to support the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition’s Lend A Helping Hand program.
The event takes place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29 at Gemelli’s at Bergen Point Country Club in West Babylon.
Models will be sporting fashions from C’est La Vie Boutique in Lindenhurst and Eva in Sayville and music will be provided by DJ Nick. A full buffet with dessert and drinks are included in the $75 per person ticket price.
Sponsors of the event include ACT Marketing Group, Dr. Anthony Capizzi, DJ Nick, East Coast Bulkheading, Environmental Bulkheading, Reliable Burglar Alarm and Sandler Training/Mattson Enterprise.
The Lend A Helping Hand program provides everyday-living assistance to patients undergoing treatment for breast cancer, helping with house cleaning, meals, post-mastectomy accessories, transportation to and from medical appointments and child care.
