Mentoring group to hold Topgolf challenge

MENTOR New York will host a fundraising event at Topgolf in Holtsville next month.

The event, to be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, presents an opportunity for the area’s community of corporate mentoring supporters to come together and enjoy an evening of fun, food, and friendly competition. 

A unique way to engage employees and partners, the Topgolf event is an opportunity to get people out of the office and onto the driving range, while supporting a worthy cause. Funds raised from the event will allow MENTOR New York to continue to expand mentoring opportunities for young people across the state.

Since 1993, MENTOR New York, formerly The Mentoring Partnership of New York and Long Island, utilized local outreach strategies and on-sight training of mentoring volunteers and professionals, using research-based methods to successfully train over 1,500 individuals annually and support nearly 800 programs serving 80,000 youth.
