Long Island Nets score with school supply drive

The Long Island Nets, Jovia Financial Credit Union and Target joined forces to support the team’s annual school supply drive. 

School supplies were collected via donation boxes located at Jovia Financial branches on Long Island and last week, volunteers from the Nets, Jovia and Target came together to sort and organize the donated items at Nassau Coliseum. 

After sorting, the supplies were delivered to California Avenue Elementary School of the Uniondale School District, and Milton L. Olive Middle School as part of the Wyandanch School District. 

In total, the Nets and Jovia donated 60 boxes of supplies to the schools containing items like disinfectant and cleaning products, backpacks, stationary and writing tools, board games and more.
