Long Island Nets host Fan Fest

The Long Island Nets hosted their annual Fan Fest event at the Nassau County Police Department Center for Training and Intelligence last weekend.

The festival included a youth basketball clinic for 60 children and a question-and-answer session for the participants with the Long Island Nets basketball operations staff. There was also an appearance by Nets’ mascot Dale the Eagle.

The children who participated in the youth clinic are part of Nassau County Police Activity League, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing juvenile delinquency that aids development of good citizenship through positive interaction of youth and police officers.
