“Escape to Margaritaville” sails into Northport theater

Fans of Jimmy Buffett are sure to enjoy the new production to hit the stage at the John W. Engeman Theater in Northport.

“Escape to Margaritaville” is a musical comedy featuring the most popular Jimmy Buffett classic songs, including “Cheeseburger in Paradise”, “Margaritaville,” “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere,” “Fins,” “Volcano,” and many more.

Billed as a hilarious and heartwarming musical, the show is about a part-time bartender, part-time singer, and full-time charmer who thinks he’s got life all figured out, until a beautiful career-minded tourist steals his heart and makes him question everything.

Running from Thursday, July 13 through Sunday, August 27, “Escape to Margaritaville” is directed and choreographed by Keith Andrews with Ed Goldschneider as its musical director.

The show’s talented cast includes Amanda Bailey as Marley; Maggie Bera as Tammy; Hunter Brown as Brick; Meadow Nguy as Rachel; Dan Sharkey as J.D.; Sam Sherwood as Tully and many more.
