Italian Food Festival coming to Lindenhurst

An Italian Food Festival will be served up in Lindenhurst this month to honor Italian-American Heritage Month.

The event is scheduled for noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21 on the Great Lawn at Babylon Town Hall at 200 East Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst.

The festival will feature food vendors from across Long Island, a Cadillac car show and a DJ and live music from recording artist Angelo Venuto.

Hosted by Babylon Councilman Anthony Manetta, Babylon Town Clerk Gerry Compitello and the Constantino Brumidi Lodge, the Italian Food Festival includes Manetta’s sixth annual pasta and food sauce drive, and attendees are encouraged to bring pasta and sauce donations to help their fellow Long Islanders in need.
