Clark Gillies Foundation scores for The Morgan Center

The Clark Gillies Foundation brought an abundance of holiday cheer to The Morgan Center during its annual holiday celebration.

The Morgan Center, a Hicksville-based preschool providing free services to children undergoing cancer treatment, hosted the event filled with laughter, joy, and the spirit of giving.

The Clark Gillies Foundation, known for its commitment to supporting children and families facing pediatric cancer, organized a visit from Santa Claus and presented The Morgan Center with a $50,000 donation.

“At The Clark Gillies Foundation, we stand firm in our commitment to supporting organizations like The Morgan Center,” Emily Tyree, executive director of The Clark Gillies Foundation, said in a written statement. “The Morgan Center exemplifies a community where children battling cancer and their families find not just support but also a sense of belonging and hope. We are honored to stand beside them in their mission.”

Michael Singh, a parent of an alumnus of The Morgan Center, highlighted the profound impact it has had on his family.

“The Morgan Center inspired our son to follow in their footsteps and give back to the community,” Singh said in the statement. “Witnessing the incredible support and compassion here, he (his son) initiated a year-round toy drive to benefit the hospital. His journey of kindness and generosity began at The Morgan Center, a place that turns pain into purpose, turning something as horrible as cancer into something as amazing as this.”

The donation from The Clark Gillies Foundation, along with the continuous support of sponsors, donors and advocates, enables The Morgan Center to fulfill its mission of offering comprehensive educational and emotional support services free of charge to children undergoing cancer treatment.
