Animal Shelter offers sweet adoption deals in February

The Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter and Adoption Center announced a special promotion for the month of February, aimed at encouraging pet adoptions.

During the “My Furry Valentine” promotion, the standard adoption fees for dogs and cats, which are typically $140, will be reduced to $65.

The adoption fee includes a range of essential services for the newly adopted pets, such as free neuter or spay procedures, vaccinations, microchipping, FIV/FELV testing, as well as flea and fecal treatments.

The promotion helps potential pet owners provide a loving home to a deserving animal while supporting efforts to reduce homelessness among pets in the Brookhaven community.
