Brookhaven Animal Shelter celebrates “St. Pet-rick’s Day” with adoption event

The Town of Brookhaven has announced that the Brookhaven Animal Shelter and Adoption Center will offer $65 pet adoptions during the “I-rish I Had a Home” St. Patrick’s event on Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17.

The Brookhaven Animal Shelter and Adoption Center will also offer free adoptions during Easter week, from March 25 through March 31. 

The shelter will provide thorough health exams, including tests for heartworm and FIV and FELV, flea treatments, as well as microchips and neutering or spaying for all adoptions.

Dedicated to helping homeless pets in the Town of Brookhaven, the Brookhaven Animal Shelter offers community outreach programs, and operates a food pantry to assist struggling families and their pets with access to pet food for those who qualify.
