Peconic Bay Medical Center holds career fair at Riverhead High School

More than 600 Long Island students attended a recent career fair to learn about potential careers in healthcare.

Peconic Bay Medical Center (PBMC) partnered with the Riverhead Central School District to hold its second annual healthcare career fair at Riverhead High School, where students were given the chance to explore a wide range of fields within the healthcare industry.

“Peconic Bay Medical Center holds our partnership with the Riverhead Central School District in high regard as we work to inspire the next generation of aspiring medical professionals,” said PBMC Executive Director Amy Loeb, who underscored the importance of the fair for students seeking a career in healthcare.

“Events like these empower our students to explore diverse career paths and inspire them to pursue meaningful careers that make a difference and match their passions,” said Riverhead Central School District Interim Superintendent Cheryl Pedisich. “We are grateful to Amy Loeb and the Peconic Bay Medical Center staff for taking the time to speak with our students, and we are excited about the future as our students pursue the opportunities available to them.”
