PALS SkyHope charity event dedicated in memory of pilot

A benefit to support a charity offering flights to those in need will honor the memory of one of their own.

PALS SkyHope, a nonprofit based at Republic Airport in East Farmingdale, will be hosting Hope on the Horizon on Thursday, June 13 at Long Island Yacht Club.

The event is dedicated to the memory of Robert Mark, a PALS pilot who recently passed away.

PALS SkyHope provides free flights for people in need of out-of-town or out-of-state medical care, military personnel and their families traveling for recovery and rehabilitation, and humanitarian efforts in the event of natural or manmade disasters.

Multiple sponsorship opportunities are available. Admission is $200 for the general public and free for SkyHope PALS pilots.

Long Island Yacht Club is located at 307 Little East Neck Road South in Babylon.
