Long Island Nets hold dance team auditions for kids
The Long Island Nets Kids Dance Team recently held open call auditions.
About 120 youth dancers, ranging in age from 6 to 15 participated in the tryouts, which took place at the Yes We Can Community Center in Westbury.
The Nets Kids Dance Team was launched during the 2017-18 NBA G League season and is operated under the leadership of Head Coach Christy R. Tolbert.
The Kids Dance Team perform at Long Island Nets home games at Nassau Coliseum and also serve as ambassadors, representing the organization at events and appearances in the Long Island community.
