GoHealth Urgent Care volunteers help LI Cares for Giving Tuesday

Volunteers from Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care pitched in to pack boxes of food at Long Island Cares Harry Chapin Food Bank for Giving Tuesday.

For 10 years, Northwell Health-GoHealth has been a vital part of the Long Island community, with 37 centers in Nassau and Suffolk counties providing on-demand care when and where people need it.

The Northwell Health-GoHealth team works together to make a difference, and their Giving Tuesday effort  highlights the positive impact businesses can have when they come together to support their communities.

Held on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving here in the U.S., GivingTuesday is described as a “global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.”

Created in 2012 as a day to encourage people to do good, GivingTuesday is a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity.
