John’s Crazy Socks partners with Christmas Magic to support homeless children
For every order they receive from now until Christmas, Huntington-based sock company John’s Crazy Socks will donate a pair of socks to support Christmas Magic.
The company has launched an initiative with Christmas Magic, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing holiday cheer to homeless children by providing gifts, food, and festive celebrations, in order to help provide for Long Island’s unhoused population.
“Happiness has two keys — gratitude and doing for others,” said John Cronin, founder of John’s Crazy Socks. “We love being able to bring joy to kids who need it the most.”
The holiday campaign is an extension of John’s Crazy Socks’ Giving Back Program, through which the company has donated $800,000 to various charity partners.
“Giving back is the heart of what we do,” says Mark X. Cronin, John’s father and co-founder of John’s Crazy Socks. “Christmas is a time for community and generosity, and we’re honored to partner with Christmas Magic to brighten the lives of children who are facing hard times.”
On Christmas Eve, John Cronin will join the Christmas Magic team at one of their celebrations, handing out gifts to the children. “I can’t wait to see the kids smile and to celebrate Christmas with them,” John said.
