Dessert shop to open its first Long Island location

Chocolate House, a growing chain of dessert shops, will be opening its first Long Island location.

The newest Chocolate House will be at 597 Hicksville Road in Bethpage. The space was formerly occupied by a Dunkin’ Donuts.

The chain has other locations in Long Island City, the Bronx, Totowa, N.J. and Paterson, N.J., according to its website.

Chocolate House offers a variety of desserts, including crepes, waffles, ice cream, frozen yogurt and more.

The Bethpage shop is expected to open this spring.
