Craft beer festival to return to Belmont on April 27

Bay Shore-based event producer Starfish Junction announced that its Spring Craft Beer Festival is returning to Belmont Park on Saturday, April 27.

Coinciding with the park’s opening weekend, the festival will feature more than 100 different beers from local and national breweries, including Patchogue’s Blue Point Brewing Co. and Riverhead’s Long Ireland Beer Company. Vendors will be staged along the final turn of the track’s home stretch, offering attendees a view of the live horse racing action.

Food trucks will be on-site selling cheesesteaks, empanadas, grilled cheese sandwiches, pizza and more.

The festival runs from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and tickets start at $50 for general admission. VIP tickets are also available for $75, granting entry to a one-hour session at 12:30 p.m. where some brewers will showcase specialty beers for that session only.
