Brookhaven Animal Shelter celebrates “St. Pet-rick’s Day” with adoption event

The Brookhaven Animal Shelter and Adoption Center will also offer free adoptions during Easter week, from March 25 through March 31.

The event, “Support, Empower, Bloom: Spring Race Supporting Survivors,” will be held on Saturday, April 7.

The money was given under the 2023 Small Business Recovery Grant Program.

The fundraising event is scheduled for Monday, July 29 at the North Hills Country Club.

The induction ceremony will be followed by a concert emceed by Paul Schaffer, featuring performances from Schwartz’s musicals.

Jason Halloren, a Commack resident, oversaw the character and leadership development training of over 4,400 cadets at West Point.

Briggs & Riley is currently holding its annual “A Case for Giving” suitcase charity drive.

The event will feature dozens of exhibitors and a variety of special attractions.
