February and March are peak months for encountering seals on the shore.

Visitors who donate nonperishable food items will get a half-price discount for their guest.

The special parent-and-me theater class will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27 at The Learning Experience at 284 Indian Head Road.

The fundraising event is scheduled for 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25.

The movie, to be presented at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20, is described as “an intimate journey of the artists and the impact of Doo-Wop.

The village police decorated a police bus in holiday lights to bring the gifts to the Hempstead Park Nursing Home on Front Street.

The old kitchen was destroyed by a flood in Jan. 2022 and the mission has been raising money for the rebuild.

The holiday food drive, held at Rallye Lexus in Glen Cove, featured Sprinter vans filled with non-perishable food items donated by Rallye to Nosh Delivers.

With every ticket purchased for the game, $5 will be donated to Habitat for Humanity.

This month the concert series offers free music performances at libraries in Hicksville, Massapequa, Bethpage and Syosset.

The event takes place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 4.

The site-based mentoring program is matching volunteer mentors from Stony Brook University with the students enrolled at Floyd Academy in Mastic Beach.

The players spent an afternoon preparing and distributing bags of food and toiletries for local families in need.

The annual Autism Speaks Walk will be held at Jones Beach on Sunday, Oct. 8.

Part of the Youth Theater Series sponsored by Bethpage Federal Credit Union, “The Wizard of Oz” runs from Saturday, Sept. 30 through Sunday, Oct. 29.
