Student Leaders is an eight-week paid summer internship that connects students to employment, skills development and service.

The money helped to fund free, week-long vacations for dozens of wounded U.S. veterans and their families.

The home is being constructed by a collaboration between Habitat for Humanity of Long Island and SQ4D, a builder that specializes in 3D-printed homes.
